Gill eventually got out after scoring an impressive century of 101 runs, but GT had already set a competitive total on the scoreboard. Hardik Pandya and David Miller then added 43 runs for the fourth wicket, helping GT surpass the 150-run mark.

Miller was dismissed for 20 runs off 14 balls, but Pandya remained unbeaten with 33 runs off 28 balls, guiding GT to a challenging total of 188 runs for 9 wickets in their 20 overs.

Gill's innings was particularly impressive as he displayed great patience and timing against SRH's disciplined bowling attack. He hit 13 fours and a six in his innings and was particularly effective against the spin of Rashid Khan.

SRH's innings

SRH's batsmen struggled to find their rhythm against GT's bowlers and never really posed a serious threat in the chase. Umran Malik was the only batsman who looked comfortable, scoring 64 runs off 44 balls. He hit 5 fours and 3 sixes.

However, apart from Malik, the other SRH batsmen failed to reach double figures and were dismissed cheaply. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the standout bowler for GT, taking an impressive 5 wickets for 30 runs in his 4 overs.

GT's Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma also performed well, taking 4 wickets each in their 4 overs.
